Situated on the shore of the Gulf of Finland, Tallinn, one of the oldest capital cities of Northern Europe and the capital of Estonia will be our home for two charming and prolific nights. Yes, you guessed well! This April, we will attend the Affiliate Grand Slam, which is a more intimate event created by the organizers of the Malta iGaming Summit 2017.
The reason for hosting this event in Tallinn, Estonia, was based on the rising numbers of tech startups that provide a solid e-infrastructure, this city being also favorable for business relocation. This is an opportunity which we cannot ignore, as enthusiastic representatives of the players’ community: just try to imagine all the wonderful things we can share and discuss with the startups out there, and how useful this can be for us, the players around the world.
As the title suggested, the focus of the event will be on the 200 affiliates that will attend this smaller gathering. Even though they will be in the spotlight, that doesn’t mean that experienced players, like us, cannot be part of this exciting event. While affiliates are searching for fresh brands and innovative products to promote, we want to be in the middle of the action, to see what exactly should we expect from the iGaming industry this year and to find out additional information from some of the best members of the iGaming community.
If we had to sum-up in one word what The Affiliate Grand Slam will be offering to us, that word would be innovation.
And we really mean innovation, it’s not just a fancy title for the event, as the hosts of the meeting are five of the most popular operators in the iGaming industry; each one of them will come up with something new at the Affiliate Grand Slam in Tallinn, for instance: EGO announced they will launch PlayOJO, their new brand, while Betting Gods come up with a new concept of sports book affiliate deals, based on subscriptions. Also, OlyBet has a major surprise for the Nordic players, who will soon be able to play online as well as they do in the land-based Olympic Casinos, due to an omnichannel alternative.
Quasar are also launching a new brand named OVO – and we can’t wait to find out more about it, while Video Slots will be there to share with us some of their secrets and experiences, as they managed to be one of the fastest growing casinos in the world.
The Affiliate Grand Slam organizers promise that this intimate event will deliver only quality content for the attendees, and this is great; there are many other conferences, for instance, where you can find little quality and an annoying amount of advertising.
It seems like in Tallinn, we’ll be able to join some engaging power panels, speed dating sessions with the other attendees, different workshops, Q&A sessions and last but not least, fishbowls with extremely interesting topics for players like us.
All in all, the Affiliate Grand Slam is something you can’t miss if you do love everything about iGaming. And we declare, once more, our love for iGaming.
